by the side of the ocean

i wish not the stars
just a place upon the sand
somewhere secluded
a place no one knows about
where the sea speaks
endlessly to the sky above
i wish to live
beside the sea
forever listening
the trance of time
waves and waves
and more waves

like a mother feeding
her child
the ocean feeds
my soul’s wells
nourishing me
with thoughts profound
vibrations of a million kinds 
i can hear in her voice

by the side of the ocean
my life settles
like a dust that has
traveled thousands of miles
floating meaninglessly
eventually finding
its perfect reason to exist
so does my heart feel
like a feather light
like a free child playful and carefree
by the ocean’s side
i feel alive
away from my pains
away from every past
worth forgetting
i feel i can fight
i feel like i can
be who i really am
by the ocean’s side…
